Save time and reduce errors by instantly importing your Chief Architect Material Lists into EZConstructionManager's flexible Estimator - ready to edit and use all of its Estimating reports.

Follow these 3 easy steps to improve your Estimating efficiency:

1. use Chief's Materials List Tools to Calculate the type of Materials List you want.  Once created Chief allows you to add additional information such as prices for labor, material and equipment, % markup, supplier names, Code, Comment and Manufacture. 

2. Then click Export Material List and choose 'Tab delimited [TXT]'.  Save this file in Chief and in the folder where EZConstructionManager is installed.

3. In EZConstructionManager click Estimating-Import-Import Estimate and check Chief Architect; find the export file and click Import.  All Materials List information will be instantly imported into the Job/Estimate you created for your Chief Job - including all Chief cost Activities and Items.  Once imported, you can add and edit prices and other information in the Estimator as required and use all of its Reports.
